How to use

Four steps — anyone can do this

Screenshots match the live planner above. If you can fill a form and drag a box, you can build your full week schedule.

  1. Step 1

    Name your schedule

Click the title bar at the top (for example “Fall 2026 Semester” or “My Classes”). It saves automatically as you type — no Save button.

  2. Step 2

Add a course with Add Item

Click Add Item in the left toolbar. Enter the course title, pick a color, and optional instructor or room. Keep “Also add to course list” checked so you can reuse the same class on other days.

Add Item dialog in College Schedule Maker with course title, color swatches, and CSM branding
  3. Step 3

    Drop it on the calendar

Drag a colored chip from Your courses onto a day and time. Or click an empty slot to open the form. Drag block edges to resize; drag the block itself to move it.

Why it helps

Stop guessing when your next class is

College weeks fill up fast — lectures, labs, work shifts, and study time. A clear weekly plan makes it obvious where free hours are and where you are already booked. This free schedule maker is built for that: one week grid, color-coded courses, shareable and embeddable for friends.

Good habits, simple tools

  • See conflicts before the semester starts
  • Block fixed study sessions next to classes
  • Print one page and stick it on your wall
  • Send the same plan to a study group

Quick study-planning checklist

  1. List every course and fixed commitment.
  2. Put hard classes in your best focus hours.
  3. Keep study blocks 30–50 minutes (easier to stick to).
  4. Leave buffer time between back-to-back classes.
  5. Review the grid once on Sunday for the week ahead.
